Our day started this morning with a fire drill and the kindergarteners filed out of the school and walked quietly to our safe spot beautifully!  When we returned to the classroom, we learned the name and sound of the letter I /i/ igloo and then retold the story The Napping House using cut out characters that your child will be bringing home next week.  During our indoor recess, we learned a new game called "Heads Up, Seven Up".  Our 5th Grade Buddies joined us this afternoon and taught us a new song which we will practice next week and then helped us make scarecrows to put on our sunset backgrounds - they are wonderful and on display on the bulletin board outside our classroom.  Please take time to take a look at them. 

Scholastic book orders will be sent out tomorrow and the books ordered should arrive within two weeks.
